On this page, you will find the most frequently asked questions about “Akad” Cloud High School. I hope they will help you broaden your knowledge about our School.
If you start studying in any virtual class from our offer this school year, and you prepare for the extended subject exam on your own without using additional consultations, studying at the Cloud High School “Akad” may be completely free for you.
We charge fees only for the work of our teachers preparing classes for the extended level exam and for participation in our Interest Clubs. Please note that our Interest Clubs offer is unique in the field of home education, and their prices are very attractive. We firmly believe that students learn best in this form of education, as they study what they enjoy the most. Additionally, school trips are also subject to a fee.
Every student in the school, if necessary, can also use daily math consultations, class consultations for other subjects (on average 1 or 2 times a week), consultations with a pedagogue or school psychologist, Polish language classes for foreigners, and exam preparation courses in grade 4 at the basic level, free of charge.
Enrolling a child in the Cloud High School “Akad” begins with filling out the Application for Admission form.
After completing the form (no earlier than May 15, 2025), the School’s office will contact you to schedule a short admission meeting. During this meeting, we will make a decision regarding the student’s admission and plan the next steps:
For primary school graduates, the following documents must be submitted:
original 8th-grade graduation certificate,
original exam results from the eighth-grade exam,
parents’ application for admission to the School,
signed Learning Agreement,
parents’ application for homeschooling.
For students from grades 1–3 of other high schools:
a copy of the report card from the previous school year,
a stamped confirmation of withdrawal from the previous school,
parents’ application for admission to the School,
signed Learning Agreement,
parents’ application for homeschooling.
Next steps:
access to the Akad Cloud educational platform is granted to the student and parents.
You will receive templates of the necessary documents (Application for Admission, Homeschooling Application, Withdrawal from Previous School, and the Learning Agreement) from us electronically. They must be printed and sent back with the rest of the documents either by registered mail or through our courier service.
Access to the Akad Cloud platform is granted within 30 days after receiving all required documents. During the first two weeks of September and the first week of October, we organize webinars for students and parents on how to use our platform.
Note! The School reserves the right to request additional data and documents not mentioned above, either during or after the admission process. These may include a student ID photo in the correct format or documents from a psychological-pedagogical counseling center containing opinions or official assessments.
Students learn at their own pace, without daily lessons, bells, or mandatory attendance. The key is passing promotional exams to the next grade.
After being admitted to the “Akad” Cloud High School, the student receives access to the Akad Cloud platform. On this platform, teachers regularly provide students with worksheets for all subjects (general, extended, and additional classes), and for extended subjects—also video lessons. Written final exams for each grade are also conducted on the platform.
Math consultations, virtual class meetings, and oral final exams at the end of each grade take place via a video conferencing platform. Access to both the Akad Cloud platform and video conferencing is completely free for students.
Virtual classes bring together students of the same year group around the same extended subjects. Each class has its own homeroom teacher, dedicated consultation hours, and builds a community on the e-learning platform.
The school provides daily math consultations, consultations for other extended-level subjects, webinars for all subjects, exam preparation courses in grade 4, support from the school pedagogue and psychologist, individual lessons for students with educational opinions or certificates, and Polish language lessons for English- and Ukrainian-speaking students.
A consultation is a class videoconference led by a teacher. The teacher presents and explains a specific part of the material. All students can speak up or ask questions. Consultations are held daily for mathematics and extended-level subjects.
A webinar is a presentation of a selected part of the material. Students can take notes and ask questions via chat. Webinars are organized when the teacher assigns material that they believe might be difficult for the student. They are treated as additional support for the student and parent provided by the School as part of the home education process.
The number of webinars in the class schedule varies — fewer at the beginning of the school year and more toward the end.
Participation in both consultations and webinars is voluntary for the student.
The consultation and webinar schedule is available to students on the Akad Cloud education platform.
Each consultation is organized according to CET and PST/PDT time zones.
The official language of the school is Polish. All worksheets, consultations, webinars, and formal communication with the school and teachers are conducted in Polish.
Marketing of Akad Schools, correspondence, and informal communication can take place in any language. The translation process is supported by AI technology.
The school adapts its working hours to CET (Central European Time) and PST/PDT (Pacific Time), which is beneficial for students staying outside Europe or preferring later learning hours.
Yes, the school travel office organizes trips around Poland and Europe, visiting both lesser-known places as well as cinemas, theaters, museums, and monuments in major cities.
The school offers additional classes in business, geography, history, computer science, cultural studies, medicine, and more. Each year, we update our selection of extracurricular activities so that every student can find something suited to their interests throughout their education. Detailed information will be available on the main website under the “School Offers” section when enrollment for the new school year begins.
